Kalibo International Airport information
The Kalibo International Airport is a fast-growing airport serving Kalibo city and the surrounding province of Aklan. This airport is the busiest in the Western Visayas and one of the busiest airports in the Philippines with more than 1.8 million passengers per year, most of them tourists visiting Boracay. This airport is one of the two main gateways to this beautiful island, together with Caticlan Airport in Malay. Although the jetty port of Caticlan is almost 70km away, many people who visit Boracay choose to fly to Kalibo due to the better connections and cheaper tickets.
Kalibo Airport offers many flights to several international and domestic destinations by a range of airlines, including AirAsia Zest, CebGo, PAL Express, Philippine Airlines, Silk air and Cebu Pacific. International destinations are Taipei, Seoul, several cities in China, Singapore, Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur. Destinations within the Philippines are limited to Manila and Cebu.

The best way to get to Boracay is by using one of the many minivans that are waiting in front of the terminal. As most people are heading to Boracay you can just follow the crowd.
