Taiwanese cuisine is similar to mainland China, but the Taiwanese are especially fond of eggs and of course seafood. Shilin Night Market and Ximending are two popular places serving typical foods of Taiwan like clam omelette, stinky tofu, pearl milk tea, dumplings and chicken kung-pao.
